ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:

* Be part of the Maintenance team based at Tanjung Batu site, Samarinda, Indonesia, that supports the operation and carries out the maintenance of the combined cycle plant, comprising two units of Rolls-Royce RB211 Gas Turbine Generator and an Allen Steam Turbine driven Generator. The candidate will perform the necessary daily, weekly, monthly and yearly routine preventive maintenance tasks as well as most of the corrective maintenance that is required for all the electrical equipment. The electrical equipment include AC Generator (20 MW), HV and LV transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, motors, control panels, wiring, batteries, battery chargers, UPS system etc.
* Depending on the maintenance requirement of the equipment, there will be instances that some of the maintenance work would need to be outsourced to the OEM or specialized support shop in Balikpapan, Jakarta, Indonesia or on other islands/places in Indonesia or even overseas. The candidate would then be responsible for detailing the requirements of the work, ensuring that they are carried out to the required specifications and quality; and for the coordination between the vendor and customer to ensure that the works are completed promptly and in the most economical means.
* Provide 24/7 standby support to the site operation should there be any outages during non-working hours. This is to help to minimize the unit downtime during any event.
* Be part of a team that will be expected to share all information and work with other peers as per the directions of the Site Manager.

Requirements:

* Minimum diploma in Electrical or Instrument
* At least 10 years of working experience with minimum 4 - 5 years hand-on experience in Electrical Equipment Maintenance, including scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting etc.
* Experience in Project Planning, including material, manpower resources and scheduling
* Experience in combined Cycle Power plant maintenance and operation is preferred.
