Panasonic Avionics Corporation is headquartered in Lake Forest, California, with offices in Washington; regional centers in Dallas, Dubai, London, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Toulouse; system production facilities in Osaka; as well as field service, maintenance and sales facilities worldwide. As part of our expansion plan, we are currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the following positions:
Senior/ Licensed Aircraft Engineers
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all necessary customers’ and documentation are properly completed. Properly document the use of spares and update inventory records
- Manage relationship between our company and assigned customers to ensure satisfaction and a long term business relationship
- Evaluate LRU testing/ certification requirements and provide feedback to PSE to amend applicable calibration and acceptance test procedures
- Respond to all airline issues related to operation and maintenance of our IFE systems. Provide technical guidance and assistance to customers in troubleshooting and resolving system & interface problems.
- Monitor failure trends and possible quality or reliability problems. Communicate findings with Product Engineers/ Reliability to ensure accurate, timely resolution
- Investigate and resolve system operation and/ or maintenance issues, including identifying the size and scope of the problem, reporting and implementing a recovery plan, utilizing areas of expertise elsewhere in the company
- Consistently exhibit professionalism in order to enhance our customer’s perception of the company
- Supervisor other team members
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma/ degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 4 years direct related experience with IFE programs, software, engineering systems
- Avionics and/or airframe background highly desirable
- Demonstrated background in any of the following disciplines: (Token Ring/Ethernet LANs; RF Signal Conditioning and Distribution: Audio/Video Encoding; Microprocessor based controllers; embedded Software; Analog Audio/Video Circuits)
- Good written and oral communicating skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with aviation and possess license awarded by local authority or locally recognised license
- Able to travel
